# Factory validation — current evidence

The disposable guard rehearsal does not validate factory operations. This record separates the evidence.

## Completed locally in this pass

- `npm test`: 74 tests passed after rebuilding the default factory and isolated test-fixtures binaries and verifying reference artifacts.
- `npm run test:venue:full`: live read-only venue inspections and both candidate/adapter builds completed; all 12 venue tests passed.
- Factory tests cover mint/freeze authority removal, fixed supply, adoption, milestone windows and caps, failed-work reopening, SOL sponsorship and tokenless repository custody, claim authorization, recipient binding, replay protection and fee/settlement accounting.
- Venue tests exercise the adapter against pinned external program bytes in a local VM. Test-fixture launch/swap success does not enable production launch/swap.

## Not yet established

The actual factory has not been upgraded under the new guard. The default production binary still rejects launch/swap. No participant-signed live factory migration or full live donation-to-milestone-to-payout/fee-settlement acceptance is claimed. Independent reviewer operation remains unconfirmed.

## Required next gate

Select and pin the actual factory/venue artifact, prepare its migration and functional inspection, obtain the existing authority's signatures and honor its existing rules. Run participant-signed business-flow acceptance on the intended development deployment before public activation. The user-approved no-wait disposable guard does not override existing factory custody.

Build hashes and clean-commit provenance are recorded in BUILD_PROVENANCE.json. Production-readiness status remains gated until the live evidence exists.
